Slipcover
Summit 2008
This is the only event of its type in the country totally devoted
to the art and profession of making slipcovers for furniture. We
hope you will join us for these few days in June to expand your horizons,
to network, and grow.
Each year we move the Slipcover Summit to a different region of
the country, affording the opportunity of furthering ones education
in the field of slipcovering. Learn from instructors who are actively
involved slipcovering furniture for their own businesses.
This year's event is in Indianapolis, Indiana. Click

Thanks
to Sheryl McAfee and Kim Newell for
being our local host
for 2008 and making all arrangements, so we could be together to
learn from one another.
The Slipcover Summit is a retreat style event. Dress casually, but
appropriately to be in public. We want you to be relaxed, worry free,
comfortable, so you can learn, and absorb as much as possible in
each workshops you attend.
We have set limits on the sizes of each workshop. This gives each
participant the opportunity to experience hands on (if the workshop
is hands-on) and to be up close to view the demonstration in each
workshop. In many workshops participants will make or take home samples.
A kit fee, which will be paid to the instructor at the time of the
class if samples are made.
Our instructors are working professionals who have volunteered to
teach what they have learned over the years. They have worked hard
to put together packets of information and samples for a memorable
learning experience. They are giving of their time and experience
in the field they know best. Sharing knowledge they most likely have
acquired the hard way, through actual experience.
We look forward in seeing you there.
